Remedial Math at Harvard

Harvard having to add a bunch of remedial support to its calculus classes ‘cause they’re getting the same situation of people coming in and they’re nowhere near able to pass a calculus course ‘cause they got these gaping holes of missing foundations in high school and probably even middle school math.

I mean, that’s what the University of California San Diego found, right?

That 1 in 12 incoming freshmen college freshmen were not proficient in middle school math.

But like at Harvard too.

All this remedial math, it’s just ridiculous.
