Never trust what your brain tells you about how unenjoyable a physical or cognitive workout will be.

If you know it’s good for you, just do it.

Your brain is lazy. It wants to conserve energy. It will gladly rationalize doing nothing.

When you’re not looking forward to training, you might think that negative feeling is going to intensify.

But often it just goes away and you feel great 5 minutes in.

Procrastinating builds up the dread but getting started often makes it dissipate.
