I Believe You Have Potential

What people tend to need the most yet have the least in their lives is a supportive hard-ass. Not to be confused with an unsupportive hard-ass or a supportive pushover. That's the gap I aim to fill as best I can with my writing.

You are capable of becoming way more skilled than you think – so don’t get lazy, don’t make excuses, don’t waste your time looking for hacks to succeed without skill, just do the damn work, work smart (efficiency) and hard (volume), and reap the reward.

You have so much potential, even if you don’t think so yourself. Just get the ball rolling on your skill-building, stick with it seriously and consistently for months – you will begin to see yourself transform, and you will begin to understand that you have lots of potential.

One of the most positive things someone can do is say “screw you, I’ll show you” to their thoughts about not having potential or not having the work ethic to realize it. Understand that whenever I write like a hard-ass, it’s because I want to nudge people in that positive direction.

I think what people tend to need the most yet have the least in their lives is a supportive hard-ass. Not to be confused with an unsupportive hard-ass or a supportive pushover.

A supportive hard-ass, who wants to see them do the hard work that it takes to find deep fulfillment in life, and provides all the guidance and support they possibly can to make that happen, but isn’t afraid to call them out on counterproductive actions.

That’s the gap I aim to fill as best I can with my writing.
