You get the most value out of a STEM degree when you

1. pre-learn your major,

2. place out of some courses,

3. get a reputation as β€œthe kid breezing through above-grade classes,”

4. open the door to research/internship opportunities right away,

5. lean into them full-time, and

6. come out of college even more ahead than you came in.
