How do you, personally, balance work and upskilling while interacting on X?

It’s changed a lot over time.

I no longer check like/repost/QT notifications. I barely look at my TL anymore. I rarely reply to DMs – there are lots of interesting people on here but I just don’t have the bandwidth.

I just focus on posting, and every once in a while I’ll quickly skim comments/mentions and only reply if 1) a quick response jumps into my head instantly, or 2) it’s a question that feels particularly useful for me to think through (like this one).

Basically, I have some hard limits on the amount of time I can spend on here, and I’m trying to use that time as productively as possible, and what that looks like changes as I grow. But the general trend is that I have no choice but to gradually step back and limit interaction.
