When you let students move at their own pace, some will take off flying faster than you could ever imagine.

Let them sprint independently on a paved road, instead of chaining them up to their classmates and making everyone trudge through mud in lockstep.

Give them individualized learning tasks and allow them to progress as soon as they’ve mastered prerequisites.

Every kid should receive individualized instruction tailored to the skill level they’re at, no matter how high or how low.

It used to be an intractable problem for a single human teacher to do manually, but now we have tech to do it at scale, so there’s really no excuse.
